JOB TITLE: Substance Misuse Homeless Outreach Worker
EMPLOYER: Youth Work Ireland Tipperary

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time, * hours per week
LOCATION: Based in Clonmel and South Tipperary, with travel as
required
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT: The Substance Misuse Homeless Outreach
Worker will be responsible for implementing outreach initiatives to
address homeless health inequalities, with a focus on substance misuse
among the homeless population in South Tipperary. The project aims to
provide daily street homeless intervention, facilitate harm reduction
interventions and develop individualised care plans to facilitate
access to mainstream services for homeless substance users. This post
will also support the Social Therapeutic Horticulture programme.
